Jacob and I started our story at Toketee Falls. Our first date after meeting online. A spot in between Bend and Medford. Toketee falls in one of oregons most beautiful places and will forever be one of my most treasured parts of our story. I think we both knew after that first date. He had snapped a pic of me without me knowing, I thought he had pulled out his phone to check the time and he snapped a pic of me with a smile from ear to ear. He later showed me and said he just wanted a pic of me so he could look at it if he wanted. I haven’t stopped looking at him like that since. I moved to Bend after a year of long distance and our story continued. We intertwined our lives and started to grow together a new life. We built a home together, made the most perfect little human, and then decided it was time to commit to each other in front of our closest friends and family. We always knew our path would be together forever, but it was time to make that commitment intentionally and for our friends and family to witness. Jacob proposed on top of a mountain in Costa Rica and we said our I-dos on top of a mountain in eastern Oregon. Joseph has always been our getaway. We’re always planning trips with friends, going here and there. Joseph has always been our place for just us so it was the perfect place to commit to forever. We got to share our place with our six month old baby girl, Wylee Rose, and the rest of our family and closest friends. The two days leading up to the wedding it rained, it was cloudy and you couldn’t even see the Wallowa mountain range, and I’m out day the sun was shining and blue skies. It was beautiful and we got a little closer to jacobs dad, Bob, who passed away and my grandma Hodge who was also looking down on us. Our story is ours and it’s perfect and I wouldn’t change a thing.
